Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow. – Ronald E. Osborn

Don’t Just Be Contented  with What you Have

Forget about what people tell you that you should be contented with what’s given to you. I daresay that you make the most of what you have by pushing your limits to the next level. Level up. Don’t just rest on your laurels and be always be on the look out on how you can improve yourself and life in general. Constantly working on improving your existing skills because real happiness goes to those who always strive to improve on their existing life because the moment you stop where you are, you stop growing.

Anna lives in a community where the women don’t go to school. Parents believe that their female children would eventually marry so they don’t invest on their education. That’s the norm and people continue to live with it. No one ever dared to change such way of living. Children grow up following the pattern set by their parents. It’s the “safe” way to live it, live like the crowd.

Those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it

I’ve seen many people that live like those in the community where Anna live. They could be anyone of us. We could all be easily influenced by the people we work, live and hang out with. However, Anna did the unthinkable. She challenged her dad that she won’t do what he requires of her unless he sends her to school. Her father was speechless and can’t believe his daughter has just contradicted her. He had no choice but agree on the condition.

Anna finished college unlike most of her siblings and succeed in life. She married at an older age than anyone else and made the most of her single life. Anna defied the gravity.

Turn Frustration into Determination

I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. — Michael Jordan
Always turn a negative situation into a positive situation. - Michael Jordan

The moment you’re frustrated, disappointed or discontented, you recognize that there’s something that needs to be changed. You realize that something needs to be better. Those feelings doesn’t always have to be negative, you just need to turn these thoughts and situation into a positive light. These feelings cause some benefits of unhappiness.

What makes us better as a society (and as a species) is the fact that we refuse to be happy with what we have. We must have more. It is in our nature to strive. – Shadox

If you want to succeed in life, constantly work on improving your core skills and don’t just live to get by. You need to work on your goals and if they fail, strive harder. You see, life favors those  who aren’t afraid to do whatever it takes to make their dreams come true.

Thank you, been working hard since my feeds have glitches but I guess it's just some silly plugin. Does the site load pretty decently. I wanted to make it load faster and uploaded some unnecessary plugins, haha.  Yes, I'm working on the banner, er, perhaps will hire someone do that job for me. Wasn't born an artist ;)  Hey I'm sorry I haven't really responded on the Google Groups but I will make time sometime next week. Have you considered making an FB version of the group?

Thank you! I don't know if you would agree that we learn more when we are frustrated - because we get to analyze the situation and what went wrong and actually do something about it whereas when we are successful, we're just happy about it without fully assessing what transpired.  I have been blogging more in my other blog and I have been tweaking this blog's theme a lot only to switch back to this theme. Any suggestions?

Pushing to the limits is what keeps us going, When you hide the object from the dog, it has to find it, with your help maybe but nevertheless it has too, if it does'nt its lost the game and become a failure. Good to see a blog that is doing some good. If you get a chance could you pop over to my site, www.daytradingthemarket.com and let this dog know if he has found what he's looking for, thanks DTTM

In short, you have to be very persistent to push through until you get to the top (temporarily). Success is a never-ending cycle, it just keeps on growing along the process. Nice blog you've got here.

Couldn't agree more Jason. You've got a well defined blog yourself. Thanks for stopping by! :-)
