Let Us Help Free the 4 Journalists in Libya. Please Sign the Petition

When I created iJustDid.org, I wanted it to be an advocacy blog. However, with no particular advocacy in mind, I started to just post positive thoughts about random things.

Today, however, I’ve learned from Danny Brown’s post that 4 journalists were captive in Libya and we’re trying to raise 5,000 signatures  until April 18th this afternoon for a petition to lobby the Libyan government to release four freelance journalists currently being held against their will in Libya – James Foley, Clare Gillis, Manu Brabo and Anton Hammerl. The petition will also be sent to the U.S. State Department, as well as the Foreign Ministries of Spain and South Africa.

Let it be known that this is not an anti-war post.

Please take some time to support these journalists by signing in the petition.

Such a small act (no, you don’t need to divulge any personal information if that’s what you’re worried about) would definitely help the four journalists and their families.
