Major Cities in the Philippines to Join the Global Social Media Day 2012
Inspired by the Social Media Day spearheaded by Mashable.com, major cities in the Philippines will celebrate the connected generation around the world. It’s a giant eyeball for the social media practitioners and enthusiasts in the Philippines.
There will be two celebrations in two different venues in Manila: Makati and Quezon City. One is organized by Tweetup Manila which starts at 4pm (Makati) while the Manila Social Media Day (Quezon City) starts at 7pm onwards. Cities like Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Gensan, Iligan, Cebu and other major cities in the Philippines will be celebrating too.
